Halfway was able to survive for 25 years. Halfway was able to continue giving quality service to our clients which in turn gave us a favorable sales record. The expertise of Halfway Management in the entertainment business has led to several partnerships with other entrepreneurs in places such as Lucena in Quezon, San Pablo in Laguna, Davao City and Cagayan de Oro City. All of these Clubs bore the brand name of Halfway both in management style and entertainment value. Lucena and San Pablo Branches however closed down upon expiry of contracts. Instead, full concentrations were afforded to Davao and Cagayan de Oro Branches. Davao Branch has discontinued operations in the year 2003 because of the peace and order situation in the area. Cagayan de Oro has continued its operation up to the present. Both Calamba and Cagayan were doing very well in terms of Sales.

Today, Halfway 2000 continues to enjoy its number one position in the local entertainment business.

In October of 1980, Halfway started as a small family business in Bagong Kalsada, Calamba named HALFWAY PUB. It used to be a small entertainment establishment that features Folk Singers and Jazz Music.

As the business grew it has transformed to a more sophisticated entertainment place in Calamba so that in 1984, aside from the live music, live performances of Halfway Talents were added to the regular shows. In the same year, more girls were trained to entertain guests that consisted mostly of ex-pats from the Los Baños area. Thus, the name HALFWAY 2000 CLUB INTERNATIONAL came into existence.

Since then, Halfway has grown and became famous for its quality entertainment value. From a small place in Bagong Kalsada the management of Halfway have decided to transfer the club to a bigger venue in Lago Vista Pansol where it is now presently located. The bigger club area cum resort is situated at the foot of Mount Makiling, a very suitable place to relax and enjoy because of its beautiful scenery and nature's fresh air.

After the transfer, the business was then registered with Securities and Exchange Commission as a Corporation. The original incorporators are officers of Halfway Managements who have been with the company for more than 10 years. The conversion to a corporation was the starting point of a more professional management style. New batch of entertainers were carefully chosen. New shows were added including new concepts, costumes and varities of themes. Monthly special events were held aside from the regular daily activities.

The many changes have drawn even more customers. Aside from our regular guests from Los Baños (Asians, Europeans and Americans) more walk-in customers from nearby industrial sites in Laguna and Batangas were added to our regulars.

Because of the continued patronage of our regular guests Halfway has committed to improve even more, not only for the business but as well as in helping talents earn a living for their advancements by finding them job placements in Japan as professional entertainers.
